We had a good time, april in Paris is great. The apartment has everything you need, it is cosy, confortable and safe. The metro, many shops and restaurants are in the neighbourhood. So the location is ok!
Take a walk along the Canal Saint Martin, that is very nice!
nice flat and good location - great value! Very friendly and helpful host. I highly recommend the flat
Very nice and small apartment. The host Christophe is very friendly and offers great hospitallity.
The place is very near the metro so getting around all of Paris is easy.
Wonderful apartment! We had a great time
in Paris and we were happy to stay in a place like this. Its clean and warm and had everything we could possibly need. The metro is 2 minutes away and th neighbourhood has many shops around.
Fully recomended and the owner is very helpful! :)
Fantastic apartment with everything we needed. The host provided a friendly welcome pack for our arrival and we were able to truly relax and treat the place like a home from home. Only a four minute walk to the metro station which connects you to the whole of Paris. I would highly recommend this place.
Me and my son from Finland rented the apartment for three nights and I can recommend it strongly.
Good service from Christophe and the flat suited our Paris-stay perfect.
Quiet and we slept very well.
Everything was perfect! The apartment is very nice, and in a wonderful position, near the metro.
Chris left all the istructions to find good shops and to have a nice stay in Paris!
I will reccomend Chris's apartment!
Nicely presented and clean apartment. Everything you need is there.
Very attentive and helpful host, with excellent local recommendations for food and drink.
Good base to explore Paris from.
The apartment was wonderful, very cozy and clean and you can find there anything you need and want to spend a nice time in Paris. Me and my newlywed husband visited Christophe’s apartment on June and we spent 11 days there. Although we have not met Christophe personally (as Christophe was on his holidays his friend met us to pass the keys) he seemed very kind and helpful – we were keeping in touch via e-mail. He allowed us to use his computer, what was very convenient eg. to copy the photos or listen to the radio. He also let us use all his staff in the kitchen, coffee maker, washing machine, etc…
As far as the neighborhood is concerned it’s a nice place to leave, the Canal St. Marin area is very pleasant to walk around, especially in the evening. You need to visit he restaurant Au Rendez-Vous de la Marine. It was recommended by Christophe, it is a superb place with a family atmosphere, an owner, who is a waiter at the same time and who provided us with his advice what to choose. What was nice apart from the superb food and digestive (calvados and prune) that he was very pleasant, kind and honest and did not try to bilk us eg. he advised us to take one entrée while we wanted to take two.
Try also the Brasserie on the way to Christophe’s apartment called le Conservatoire – it’s a nice place to stop and drink bear or coffee.
The metro is very close to the apartment, as well as the markets, eg. Franprix is closer, although we visited most often the Monoprix which is better quipped.
The overall note – we are very satisfied and would like to get back there…
Chris met us at the train station to help ferry us back to the apartment; even carried a bag for my dad! His flat is small but he makes the most out of the size it has. We had the run of the place and even used his laptop and printer that was there. It's perfectly situated next to Jaures station which has three lines running thru it--very convenient. We loved the convenience of his flat--he took care of everything.
