Description de l'hébergement
The flat is 200 meters from New Cross Gate Station, which gives you access to the Overground and the mainline railway (Note: the Overground is connected to the tube/underground - it just runs over ground - all tickets are valid). There are also numerous buses, which pass the flat and go straight to central London, including several night buses, so you can always get home no matter what time of night!
You can be in Trafalgar Square (by train) in just 15 minutes. The vibrant and eclectic area of Shoreditch is also just 15 minutes on the Overground. The location is ideal for any tourist or person working in central London!
So far all the guests in the flat have been very nice, interesting and very respectful of one another. I believe that they have all enjoyed their stay. The apartment is maintained daily to a high standard.
In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay; there are 24 hour food shops, cafes, restaurants, a big supermarket (Sainsbury’s) and bars all within walking distance to the flat. The flat is very close to Goldsmith University campus, so could be an ideal base if you are visiting the university for a conference.
The apartment is really convenient if you are visiting the Olympic games this summer. It is just 20 minutes by bus to Greenwich were a number of events are taking place, and just 20 minutes to the stadium at Stratford, via the Overground and Jubilee Line.

Avis sur les autres logements de cet hôte
Everything was ok for me 3 night stay at here place. I had a great time in this place in London
Nice accomodation in front of the bus stop and very close to the underground. Our room was small but clean ideal for few days.
Kitchen and toilet were ok as well!!!
Very nice short holidays!!!
Room tidy but the overall appearance is terrible.
Some gardening in the back area would be nice and not having spare objects lying around in the room would make it feel less thrown together at the last minute.
Sidney was a great host - very professional and charming. He really did his best to satisfy all our needs. The flat was new and really cosy. The neighbourhood is so central - we walked to the Houses of Parliament. We would definitely recommend this place!
On october, three guests were stayed there. The house was acceptably good in general.
The bedroom was fine but the bed wasn't comfortable enought.
There weren't any supply bedsheets.
The bathroom was the worst in the flat . It had got some mildew on the ceiling . The watercross was so slowly to be full and there was one towel per each, for five days only.
The kitchen was acceptable with pans, pots and owner.
In the livingroom there were two mattress on the floor.
Sidney met us in the flat and he was very friendly.
There were some stops bus near with C10 / 381 line, to
Canada water underground.
There is a small supermarket to twenty minutes walking, althought it is expensive.
From Canada Wather underground you could find a Tesco to five minutes walking.
I would come back to stay there again.
The room was pretty bare-bones, but very clean. We never saw the rest of the apartment, except for the bathroom and the shower (which was VERY small).
They seem to have some moisture and leaking problems, but nothing to really worry about. The building looks kinda shady and smells really bad of mold and humidity, but once inside the room, everything is fine. Bathroom and shower were clean, shared, but very small and the bathroom had a small leak on the floor.
We never saw the host at all, but getting the keys, and everything else was fine. Easily accesible with the London Overground, although you are limited by it's time schedule, which is shorter than the tube, a bit more expensive, since it's not within Zone 1. Also, it has a couple of bus stops right at the door.
We weren't even able to talk to the host, and she didn't answer any e-mails, but it ended up not being a big issue.
Overall, a clean room, a little noisy but nothing to worry about. The area has almost nothing, and doesn't look too good at night, but you will probably spend most of your time in central London.
Overall? Totally average. No big cons or pros.
We enjoyed our staying at this house. Room and bathroom were clean, at night everything was silent and quiet despite all rooms were full. A lot of respect within guests and it took us only 10 min by train to the city center. We were traveling with two kids and everything was fine.
Room was bright and clean, bed was comfy. It was good to get to the centre on the train or tube. There is also a bus close by. Sidney was friendly and chilled. The area feels urban, but kind of cool/arty. I would stay here again for the price.
The room is very bright and clean, the only problem is that there isn't a wardrobe but if you're staying for some days it will be perfect. The flat is very nice and the kitchen is well organised and spacious. The bathroom is quite small but clean, even if you'll probably have to wait for a bit to have a shower since in the flat there are many rooms. Sydeny is a great owner, he is very nice and kind, he helped us a lot during all the week. So it's really a nice place to stay even if sometimes you might have some troubles with the bathroom or the locks that are quite hard to open.
the room is at a great location. a numerous amount of buses right for the door to every corner of London. shops nearby for buying food. The room itself is big but has a few minor points. First the noice of the very busy road day and night is really disturbing at night. Double glazing would solve that problem .Just as the problem that the heating was not working. Also there was a big window in the door. The light from the staircase shines really through this window. I put up my London map on it to demp it. A simple thing to fix to stick some dark plastic on it.
Kitchen was fine. Bathroom shower only had hot water not possible to mix with cold. Furhtermore an extra outside toilet would be handy. Cause with 8 people really difficult in the morning to go to the bathroom if you just want to use the toilet. The price was ok and you cannot expect to much but this are small things that are easy to fix.
